The Australian Institute of Executive Coaches  was established to meet the needs of CEOs and senior executives wanting to transition from their current employment situation into self-employment as an Executive Coach. It is a membership organisation run by Executive Coaches for Executive Coaches. We provide professional development and networking opportunities for our members, as well as a range of resources. The Institute trains Executive Coaches to operate within their own coaching (and often consulting) business.

Vision

Organisations develop a Coaching Culture in which everybody works collaboratively to assist and support each other achieve their goals and performance targets for the benefit of the business. At the same time, employees are enthused and motivated to come to work each day, knowing that they and their efforts are valued and appreciated.

Mission

Train CEOs and senior executives to become Executive Coaches in their own business providing coaching services to organisations to assist them achieve their business goals and targets, and develop a Coaching Culture.

Coaching Philosophy

The coaching philosophy of the Australian Institute of Executive Coaches is that:

• The coach-client relationship is a partnership built on trust and respect
• You are in charge of your own destiny – only you can decide what’s best for you.
• You have, or can gain, insights into what you need to do to make your work and life more enjoyable.
• The resources that you need to make changes that you need to make are already within you, or available to you.
• You know best your situation and what’s right for you.
• Your coach is there to guide and support you, but not do things for you. You are the responsible and accountable party.
